Do the TC2's brake caliper come painted from the factory?

its really easy to do. I did mine with the duplicolor kit from amazon, it cost like 20 bucks and about 2 hours and some refreshing beverages

I would recommend doing it only if it's above 70 degrees outside. It's February in new York and it would take about two days to dry. I did it on my old car and it looked amazing but the weather outside seriously impacts the drying time. And would in turn impact the amount of time you have the wheels off the car and up on a jack. But I agree with the guy above me, it's really easy to do and looks awesome if you take the time to do it right.

Yea, I just used a 1 inch wide disposable foam brush. Then use the smaller brush for the small spaces and just tape off the rotor where you're going to come close to it. You can search YouTube how to plastidip your rims but mine faded so I took it off. Took hours though. Id just recommend powdercoating them

Powercoating is a good option. I sprayed mine as well. As the others were saying, ensure the weather will allow fast drying times. I sprayed mine and taped everything off. That was about 4 years ago. They've chipped since then but I don't care because I want BBK lol.

My only advice doing this is, USE A DIFFERENT BRUSH! .. the one supplied in the kit is horrible, at least mine was. Bristles falling out and into the paint. It was terrible.

I used the G2 paint kit and had no problems. I also had my wheels plast dipped and had no problems. You just have to wash them off constantly. Powdercoating would be more ideal though.
