And why on earth would you put water wetter in your brand new car? This isn't a track car is it? Otherwise, there is no reason for this. The only oem cars I've used this on were track only cars.

Learned the hard way, it works with "all" coolant except Toyota. Redline is getting the bill and i've already started that. It coagulated and looked like motor oil or blown head gasket in the res. Took me 3 different cleaners to get it mostly clean. The res is so baffled that it cannot be cured with a flush. 481 was for a coolant flush, 2 jugs because it took 2 flushes to clean the residue, and a new reservoir plus labor. I decided to clean my res. myself to knock 279 off the bill and it's 108 bucks an hour for their labor cost

I used it because I've smelled hot coolant after parking it since day 1. No leaks etc. So i figured why not? Well.
Here's why not!

Sure nothing is wrong with your ride? I've NEVER smelled that distinct hot coolant smell on my 2011 and I've owned it for three and a half years...

The smell goes hand in hand with the high temperature. But head temperature was normal? Like Big Steve said... if you got that distinct smell that cannot be mistaken, then there was already something going on. Otherwise, you were smelling something else.

Thats what i thought! But it's the led thermostat. Red light, green light, and off at operating temp. Nothing shows leak or etc. So I was told that if something happened id get new motor. I run mid grade gas because i want as little ethanol as possible.

It was overfilled a tad so probably blowing off out of release. There are seemingly about 6 cells/baffles in that reservoir by the way. They have passages in them at random points.
