What does this mean?
I got a notification on my dash that looked like "( ! )" Is that tire pressure or something? all my caps were still there and i drove like 30-40 miles with it like that. Wheels seem okay? What do i do . I am a noob remember! First car and everything haha
Either the ebrake is on or low brake fluid I believe? is the light red or orange?
It's orange, and the ebrake wasn't on. It might be the brakes actually cuz they didnt seem as flush as usual. I have 8k miles on it (bought with 5k as it was a dealer car or something) and i haven't gotten maintenance on it yet since i bought it.
first place I would start is checking tire pressures and brake fluid level.
^ what rockland said...
its the TPMS sensor indicator... meaning at least one of the tires are low in pressure...
if you experience extreme temperature changes day and night, your TPMS indicator may go off in the morning since the air decompresses with lower temperature and re-expands when it heats up... hence the reason why you shouldn't fill up your tires in a hot day or after you've drove the car around for some time...
You could get it filled with nitrogen... the claim is that it is less prone to temperature flux... however, you'll end up with those "green" valve caps to indicate that your tires are filled with nitrogen... LOL
but... of course there is another claim...
something to do with how nitrogen won't damage the inside of the tires...
