Default Why does TRAC goes back on by itself??

OK... did my search, did not find answers to this.

When I turn off the TRAC, it goes back on by itself with in 5-10 seconds and the light is off. Is this normal?? It does it every time I push the button to turn off.... Does it mean the TRAC is still off, even when the light (on the dash) turns off?? It's on the stock wheels and tires and not yet lowered.

When youre at a standstill, hold the button for 10-15 secs.

Push the button: TRAC lights up. Traction control stays off until you hit 30 mph then turns back on.

Push and hold the button: TRAC and the pic of the slipping car light up. Traction control will stay off until you turn the car off or you press the button again.

NOTE: If someone knows how to change the default to traction control being off, please let me know. Traction control isn't exactly super beneficial in Florida...

i dunno if its just me, but when u fully turn off traction, does your car feel more responsive? not talking about take off, i mean in general?! I have the weapon r throttle controller and when traction is on flooring from about 50-80 my car feels the same as if it was normal like the throttle controller is off. when traction is off my car is a beast from 50-80. Does the traction being on have anything to do with how much torque the car uses so we dont peel out or something?

^ With Traction Control and A/C off, the car feels and responds totally different.

i only ask because when i put my performance monitor in my car to run some numbers, when my traction control is off my estimated torque ends up being higher than when the traction is on all the time

^prob cuz it limits the torque output to prevent wheel slip
