Check the DOT laws in your area before doing anything with flashing lights. Flashing red lights in my area are not allowed to be anything but turn signals. Flashing red and/or blue is usually reserved for emergency vehicles.
Ok that's cool. So... Just trying to understand. When would it start to flash? As you get on the brake? Or just at a set interval. Like blink 3 times, then solid for 30 seconds then blink again? Not sure what exactly you mean.
when i brake they will blink three times then solid, that way they will be legal and not too much, but i plan to run a switch to it so that it wont always be on. just as an extra precaution so i give less reason for a cop to pull me over and try lie about it. but on when i want to be that guy
