So, I have a brand new set of KW Variant2's for my 14 tC, for which I bought brand new OEM upper mounts, dust boots, upper seats, and strut bearings. But when I go to tighten the top nut there is still about a centimeter of play left below where the threads stop. So my question is, am I missing something like a part or does it need to be on the car before I can tighten the top nut down?

Anyone? Ideas? Is it possible that the springs will only go down so far even if there are threads left for the perch to go lower?
