So i got my 2011 tc when it had 27k miles and ever since when ever i gover over a small or big bump i hear like a metal hitting another mettel sound from the front wheel, i took it to the dealership and they told me that it suppose to be like that...i took it to another mechanic and he told me its the sway bar link...has anyone else had this problem or anything???

 

I have been having a similar issue since I lowered my tC. In my case I think the coils are hitting each other. Has your a been lowered? Mine was fine prior to dropping it.

I have this same problem. I had the car since new back in 2011 and it now has 82k miles.

I took it to the dealership while still under warranty at like 15k miles and they replaced the caliper saying that the brake pad retainer clip was broken.

Today it still makes that noise, but I can't really feel any adverse affects of it, when I changed out my pads I did a full inspection and couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. So I think that we're ok, it just depends how bothered you get with the sound.
