Default Question to those with coilovers

Have any of you noticed that the left rear sits higher than the right rear? Funny since the fuel rank is on the left side.

On my STD R3's, i have my left side spring height a full inch lower than my right side, yet it is even when siting on the ground.

I understand that the chassis is not perfect- but an inch difference to compensate seems excessive. Btw, my tC has 760 miles on the Odometer.

For anyone with the same suspension, if you could share your rear setup/adjustments that would be greatly appreciated.

There's your answer. You have to let your car get settled in. It's so damn ridged at that point. You have a few thousand miles yet until your suspension won't be so stiff and ridged. Everything is just too new to settle and handle properly. You are actually probably hurting the settling process of your car by having your coils so far off from eachother. Put them both down to the same threads and drive it the way it is. Check it in three months.

Drive your car, have to work the suspension so the springs settle in.

Im not new to coilover suspensions, i know all about allowing the suspension to set.

With an 8kg rear spring, its not going to "settle" and inch..
But i will consider it, and try swapping out left and right springs to see if they have already individually begun to "set".

So basically im just asking if anyone else has noticed this left to right height difference when they have adjusted their rears.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I haven't as you know I'm on the r3's also. Are you sure that it not the difference in the camber of the rear wheels that is making the car look like its not level?

Exactly one of the people i wanted to her from.

Haven't had it on an alignment rack yet, but nothing noticeable as far as camber angle differences from left to right (i do alignments at work).

The vehicle is level, just weird that the left rear spring is set an inch lower than the right rear spring to make the car sit evenly.

Great suspension though!
