I noticed it in another thread but figured it should be noted in the suspension section.

SENT FROM MY DROID
Quick question that is semi-post related. I called today to get an estimate in the install of the tein springs. Most quotes were over $450. They said that it was (going off of previous models) 6 hours of labor. Most shops where I live charge $75/hr. I hade another shop quote me $410 and that included allignment. I had one more estimate from a guy that does a lot of work on race cars. he said that he would install the springs for $175, but he couldn't allign the car for me though. I guess my main question is if installations normally run this high.
Another question that I have is if I would need a camber kit or does the tC2 have the capability of adjustment already?

But yes, the tC has plenty of toe adjustment available to it.
Superpickel.... Just install them yourself man!
I've gotten a spring job down to about an hour.
You need basic hand tools,
12,14,17,19 mm (I think) sockets and a ratchet
A floor jack
And a mcpherson strut spring compressor (rent for free at most chain automotive stores)
I'm sure you know this, but you should just be an OG and put the first set on a TC2 by yourself lol

Im not surprised, there are places local to me that charge $600 for it without alignment. I wouldnt bring my car anywhere for a simple job like springs, better to just do it myself...
So assuming that I man up (thanks greenbean), put my big boy pants on, and install these myself, I would only need to take my car to have it alligned? I think an allignment would be 100 bucks where I live. Thats not that bad. But, how much will I be cussing trying to break the nuts loose from this thing... Must give this more thought...
So you think that I would be able to break them easily without the use of an impact? The only wratchet I have is a 3/8 drive. Think it is strong enough to loosen the bolts?
Also, I saw one write up on scionlife. Any pointers or additional information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

If your that worried, this probably isn't the project for you. Springs are not hard and being a car that is brand new, you will have no issues cracking bolts loose. Heck, you could probably do it with a 1/4" drive ratchet!
