Update! KSport coilovers! 10-10-2011
KJ.....do the KW's have independent ride height adjustment and did you set preload to zero.....basically how'd you default set preload and ride height? Anyone with self-installed coils can chime in.
I got mine today after work, and installed them alone, in my driveway, all hand tools. Its not that bad guys, but does take some time!! I will say everything on the coils seems pretty legit, no reason to question qaulity. Rides awesome, and looks sexy as hell!
Pictures tomorrow!!

right....so what I'm asking is set zero preload to start (raise perch snug to spring w/o compression, then do process above to set initial ride height, then adjust preload to proper weight target (as above), and then adjust ride heights again. Sound about right? Oh and all you eager beavers.....how bout some pics.
all hand tools, one person....I forget what car I'm working with. Jaded by a S-tech install on my fiance's MkV GTI......nearly impossible with hand tools. I haven't touched suspension on my tc2, but I'm sure it's not near the nightmare of those Dubs.
If its like most you're just going to spin the bottom part where it strut bolts up for the fronts up to go lower down to raise it... for the rears youll have to spin the locking collar that the spring sits on. Make sure you use anti seize on the threads so you wont have a hard time adjusting it down the road.
not sure what it says in the KSport or the OEM manual...
but KW says 37 ft/lbs
ur talking about the part the bolts the top perch to the suspension right?
if not and ur talking about the 3 bolts that mount to the car itself...just tighten it until its tight. no torque needed

Just follow the TRD install, except you won't need a spring compressor as everything is all put together, well at least for the front setup anyways.
