16x8 fit for all that care.
I just bought one 16x8 rpf1 with an 38 offset. The barely clear the front and the rear. I suppose this is the smallest you can put on the ride. I put 225x55x16 for the compensation of the stock 18s. I dont know if its old news, but just saying. Going to post the wheel and tire combo weight vs our 51 pound stock tire and wheels.

shure are. I dont care for bling. Lighter wheels with the right tire combo to compensate for the stock wheel and tire gear ratio means easier on your brakes, tranny, motor, stops quicker not to mention at least 1 hp back for every pound dropped and faster. 51 pound tire and wheel combo for an 2.5 motor is only sooo strong. These 18s are perfect for a 5.0 or bigger imho.

good eye, never pulled it out. I used the spare from an mk3 supra....rubbed a little, its a full sized wheel, its an 16 5x114.3. Offset has to be right as well. Just didnt want to take the chance, but the rpf1 in 16x8 in a 38 offset barly fits over the front brakes. The weights should be near the outside of the wheel doing a static balance.

38.55 is the wheel and tire combo sez kinkos. Thats almost 13 pounds off the drive line and 50 pounds overall off the car. Thats a seat and half a spare tire! Id figure a te37 would be three pounds less if you can find one. They are discontinued in 16s. But u can find them in a v series for 16s if u like that ol skool extra lip.
