help me please!
im trying to get some rims, will this setup work
or am i pushing it to its limit?
(running tein s techs)
18x9.5 +30
18x10.5 +30
also can somebody explain what a offset greater then 30 will do
and an offset less than 30 will do.
im a total noob when it comes to rims/wheels/tires blah blah blah

They will fit but you will have to run a stretched tire and drive like grandma. You would need a wider but smaller diameter tire such as 225/40 up front and 235/ 40 in the rear. The stocker tires may stretch on the 10.5 inch rim but I would not advise it. The stock tire will fit the 9.5" rim but they will rub slightly when you hit a bump while turning. Stech's with 18x9.5 +35 offset will fit with your stock tires on all 4 corners with no damage to the car.
Simple explanation of offset; Zero offset is an imaginary centerline of the rim, dividing it into equal halves. + offset means the wheel's mounting hub is closer to the face of the wheel. - offset means it is closer to the back lip of the rim. The +30 means it is 30mm from the wheels centerline. The higher the offset value means more of the wheel will be under the car. Lower offset value makes the rim poke out of the wheel wells more.

Also there is a sticky at the top of this forum for your topic.
My advice is pick a 18x9.5 wheel with an offset of +35 to +45 and use your stock tires... BUT if you have deep pockets then go wild. Buy whatever you want and spend more money on tires, rolling the fenders for clearance. Remember the biggest disadvantage to choosing different size wheels is you can no longer rotate your tires. They will wear out much faster and make more road noise as they wear uneven from not being rotated.

Oh mannn that was a reallly great explanation thanks for taking the time out to explain to me. I just want some poke without adding spacers. I'm also planning on fender rolling so the harder the.poke the better that's why I was thinking 18x9.5 but its always the offset that confuses me
No problem, be sure to post some pics. One other thing to consider is rim weight. Stocks are 27lbs. Spend the money and get a lighter weight, good quality wheel. Adding/removing drivetrain rotating weight makes a very noticeable improvement for acceleration, braking and suspension response. I dropped almost 9 full pounds each of my wheels, it made a big improvement.
