Old snow tires new car
Hey guys! So I have 4 practically brand new studded snows (2,000 miles or less) from a previous car the tire size is 235/55R17 can I make that work on the 2014 tC? If so it would save me a ton of money.

As long as you get some 17" wheels with an offset at or below the factory size specs (+39) you shouldn't have issues.. A 17" wheel will clear the brakes no problem and there's more than enough room in the wheel wells for a tire 10mm wider. I'd say shoot for a 17x7.5-8" wheel with an offset around 30-39 and you should fit those no problem. Keep in mind you might need new lugs and hub rings as well if the wheels you pick up aren't Toyota wheels as they have a unique lug nut setup.
Bolt pattern - 5x114.3
Hub bore - 60.1mm
Lug thread - 12x1.5mm

Thanks for the reply, i found a set of wheels that are 17x7.5
I'm glad that there will be enough clearance in the wheel wells the guy at Toyota said it was a gamble whether or not they will work.
I didn't see any reason why they wouldn't they are not much larger in width.
