Default Wheel spacers?

Hey guys, I have been looking into it for a while now because I like the wheels on the tc and dont plan on getting new ones. I do think that the rear wheels could be spaced to look a lot better. Anyone know how much to space it. I have been looking at a 25 to 30mm space because there is a lot of room in the back. Is that too much? Also would this help with the handling on the car or would it make it worse. I was thinking it might help initiate some oversteer or at least eliminate a little bit of the insane understeer this car has. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

if our plan is to install them on a 1st gen tC, why don't you ask the 1st gen tC owners?

Running spacers in the rear is going to create more understeer because you're only widening the track for the rear. The tC already understeers enough, if you're going to track the car a rear sway will help lessen the understeer issue. Either run spacers equal size all around or run wider wheels(with matching wider tires all around) to improve handling. I myself would go for a wider wheel and tire combo if I were to track the car(but mine is just a daily cruiser).

Default Spacers for '11 tc

I've lowered my tc and was wanting to "flush" my wheels with the fenders. Was wondering if I should go 12 mm in the front and 25 mm in the rear.

so what actually is the size you need to make stock tires look flush?

I was looking to pick up a set of spacers myself. Found some reasonable ones on eBay. I have matched the lug pattern (5x114.3) also the 12x1.5 thread. What is the center bore though? The ones I'm looking at say 60.1mm. Is this going to work? I was planning on running my stock wheels on s techs for a while. Thinking of a 25mm in the back, and a 15mm up front. What will look best?

Talking

I have been in touch with motorsport tech and they said that 15 in the front, and 25 mm in the back should be perfect to flush the wheels with the fenders. These are custom made and will work with the current lugs on the car. They are also hub centric, price for the set of 4 is $274.

All of the above numbers are correct.

Just thought of something as sifting through 1g forums about spacers. With a 25mm in the rear, on s-tech's it's already pretty tucked. Will bringing the wheel out that much require any roll in the fender for hard cornering?
Found a reasonable price on a set of Ichiba V2's. Seem to have decent reviews + easy bolt on without switching bolts. Looks like a 2004 Lexus SC 430 gets the same spacers we do. Any thoughts?
