Default Wheels and tire fitment xxr 522

I used the wheel Calculator the circled number is that the rim size those tires can handle? Wheels and tire fitment xxr 522-uploadfromtaptalk1378255544468.jpg

I want to get some xxr 522 but I Kinda want to reuse mq factory tires Can you get xxr 522 with. smaller diameter that a 8.5 tire will fit? The xxr wheels. I looked at were 18 x 9.5 I think will the 245 45 tires fit. in deff a noob with dealing with wheels and Tires

Can I get some input from some one with these wheels has any one had to roll your fenders or remove the inner fender? Input is very much appriciated. Ill post a pic of my current stance

Ok just found xxr 522 in 18×8.5 the tire calculator says 225 45 is 18×8.85 will this tire fit?

well offset is very important bro haha but if you wana go that way and you just want that wheel in there then just go 8.5 all around with a high offset like +40 and you will be good!

Is +40 flush with the outside of the rim? Ao I guess im asking is dead center of the rim 0 and negative numbers like -24 would b towards the rotor and + numbers would be going out ? Just trying to get a grip on this concept. Thanks.

you mean flush with your fender? and no actually its the opposite, the more higher you go the more it is to the rotors so a +40 would be tucked in your fender while a -13 for example would be poking out your fender. 0 doesn't mean your even with the fender...now it gets a lil more complicated when you drop the car cuz thats when you have to figure out how low your making it and then your offset changes from when stock height thats y I was asking if your lowered.....so it just depends what look your going for

Just saw this post i have two tc2s and they are both on stock tires. one is 225 40 and the other is 225 45. 225 40 is on 522s 18x8.5+30 offset, and the 225 45 is on 527s 18x8.75+20 offset. First one is flush tires would tuck nicely if lowered, second one my wheels poke and the tires will rub as soon as i drop it......i plan on rolling.......wooooo hahahah

hope this helps some.

You want flush but don't want to roll your fenders.. why not? You roll your fenders to protect your car and wheels/get clearance. If you weren't lowered then you wouldn't need to worry about rubbing with that 4x4 height. The lower your car is the more natural camber you're going to have. You can correct the front camber w/coilovers/crash bolts but there isn't any adjustable rear upper control arms for the rear so you're stuck with whatever camber it gives.

My car is all the way lowered on the front with racelands and all the way down in the rear only reason I dnt wanna roll fenders is because I heared it will crack ur paint I dnt care to bend the lip thats in side the fender i just dnt wanna ruin my paint.

That's why you do it the right way the first time. If you heat the area where you're rolling with a heat gun then use a fender roller you won't crack the paint.

Cheaper to find someone who has one you can rent. Purchasing is $200+.

You can kiss your stock tires goodbye if you decide on shrinking the camber. My tc eats up tires and alignments annualy with minimal negative camber.

^^ yup I can vouch for that to! I have -3 camber and I have to go through a couple tires annually...but it would be cheaper to find a person that can roll them, usually charge around $40 a fender to roll
