Default Will these lug nuts fit my car?

Hey guys, I am considering ordering these "Password JDM Aluminum Lug Nuts (Extended Close End) X 1.5" for my TC2 to spruce up my wheels. Anyone know for sure if these will fit on my car? On their page it says that they will fit Scions... but what about ones with aftermarket wheels. I have Volk RE30 wheels, will this make a difference? Any help is appreciated, thanks

You actually aren't supposed to use your stock lugs with Volks, you should only use Tuner lugs or they won't sit correctly. Yes those lugs are fine to use with Volks.

Thanks for the quick reply. And no, I am not using my stock lugs with my Volk wheels; I am using tuner lugs that look similar to the ones I am ordering from Password JDM. I just wanted some new ones with a nice fresh coat of paint because the ones I have on now look all faded and nasty

Buy a set of Blox from the guys selling them in the wheels for sale forum on here. I picked up a set of clear annodized ones for 50 bucks NIB. They are holding up very well. You need a thin wall 17mm socket to use these on most aftermarket wheels.

lugs are not all created equally. I had a set of new lugs and they spun as SOON as they were tightened down.

Forgive the total noob question but, what does "spun as soon as they were tightened down" mean? I'm assuming that's a bad thing...?

Stripped the threads probably, yes that's bad. The Blox brand was my first set of Al. lug nuts. So far so good. Used 80 foot lbs. of tq. and then double checked by hand after a weekend of driving. None were loose.

As soon we torqued them to spec they spun the thread. The metal was junk.
