Default accoessorizing xA

1. I changed out my 18-inch low profiles tires with alloy wheels for Eagle 15-inch tires with chrome wheels to soften the ride. Would changing the stock shocks to Monroe Sensatracs make a noticeable improvement in the ride.?

2. I am looking into tinting the windows. Is limo tint hard to see out of at night? What is legal in CA for the front windows?

3. Where would I go to get sound deadening mat installed?

I appreciate any help with these questions.

Thank you

Shocks are dieffinately an improvement. Window tint on the front 2 windows is illeagal, but I run%35 anyways. As for sound deadening, it's awful easy to do yourself, the car literally snaps apart in most places.

Phew! Cali's strict with tints. In 'Bama, 32% on the front is legal (on passenger cars)... 20% is okay for city cops, bad for county sheriffs.

i believe you can have tint on the front windows but it has to be more than 70%. which is practically clear, and used to block UVs. depends on what site youre looking at.

anything more than like 60% transparency appears clear,
the states that have the law on tint on the front of the car says the law is for the safty of the cops

Cops have these little light transmitter/detector things. They clasp it around your window and it'll read the tint. Besides, it's not hard to tell. I can look at tint now and guess how dark something is.

You can and should do the matting yourself....you can do the entire car in less than a day. I did mine in 3 nights and that was with putting everything back I took out that night...Just be wary of sharp edges in the inner panels....
