OK, here's a little news for all the patient xA owners out there.

Everyone knows that bBist only releases products that are the utmost of quality. I think that even though it took a bit longer than expected, everyone will be happy with the outcome of our work.

These pics are of the final product. We try very hard to stay on schedule, but sometimes it just takes a little more time to get things done the right way. We are continuing to test this product for another week and then place it in the schedule for manufacturing. Before our testing is finished by next week, I will have calculated an ETA on when production parts will be finished. Right now the aproximate time for release is in 6 weeks.

ahhhh......yessss......I'm soo glad I waited out for this wing...6 more weeks of waiting isn't that bad....gives me more time to save up and pay for it..

From what i know....only 10 is being made. You had to have signed up for it and put a deposit...this was 4-5 months ago.

 

We are only making 10 pc. in the first run. There will be more made in the future, but not for some time. Unfortunately it takes more than just 10 pc to break even on the production costs. Development for this wing has really hit us harder than any other part we have made and most development/ manufacturers would have thrown in the towel. I guess this is what set's us apart from everyone else. We do what we say and we do it good...! :D

These first 10 pc's were exclusive to Autofashion only. In the future, any authorized bBist Dealer will be able to sell this item (but like I said... not for a while )

Hey Pete! Yes, that is double sided tape your arrows are pointing to. As you can see from the picture the wing does not have a continuous strip of double sided tape holding it onto the car. We only used sections of tape so we can test the durability and strength of the part.

So to answer your question, the wing is held on by double sided tape. This is all that is needed for installation and we have made sure of it. When you install the spoiler, we do recommend that you line the entire mounting surface with double sided tape!
