Default beatrush aluminium under panel: anybody have it?

http://www.speednstylez.com/product_...oducts_id=1413

months ago, i saw this sheet metal replacement for some of the plastic that mounts on the under belly from the back of the bumper to the engine.

at the time, i figured that it would increase noise my providing another hard sufrace to reverberate.
it popped into my head recently so i wanted to take another look at it.

does anybody here have it?

UPDATE:
C-One makes one too:

kamispeed also sells the beatrush cheaper, but i don't know about shipping:

Sorry about the thread jack proctorsilex!!

If you want I can have the thread split, otherwise I guess you can consider these posts as free bumps so the topic stays near the top.

^^ no worries.
i was hoping that somebody had some experience with it.
i want to know whether it makes much of a difference and whether it makes a lot of noise.

i do not see how much of a bling piece it could be as it is on the bottom and will get dirty, but it could be more for bragging rights than usefulness.

i would be interested if you made one, but how much cheaper?
i was thinking about making one, but i don't know how to make the vents. it would probably take me more than $200 worth of time and supplies.

well, it would be a pretty knock-off production but it shouldn't cost too much except for shipping. I think the materials are gonna be $100 to every 2 made and then labor and I'm thinking about a way to beat out the vents. Maybe carving out a 4x4 and using it as a 'mold'

i highly doubt that this piece would transfer much noise into the engine compartment. If you were really worried about it, you could make some rubber bushings to mount up between the mounting surface and the plate out of energy suspension pieces or something. I def. plan on purchasing one, i was just looking for a cheaper price than c-one and i wasnt aware of this piece, i will let all know how it works out, great find!

^^
i planned on spraying the bottom of it with an undercoating to prevent noise.

i am also interested in how this piece affects oil changing as it only has the small hole presumably for the oil plug. i wouldn't want oil to pour out all over the upper side.

pkease do tell us what you think when you get it.
if i get one, it will probably be in a month or so.

I wouldn't worry too much about oil changes...it can't be held on by more than a dozen small bolts....That might add what a minute to the total prep time and a minute to reinstall.....Besides. it might make you inspect the underside a little better....

I want one!

Ive been looking at this piece for a VERY long time. Kamispeed, said he would hook us up with C-One but i never received a PM from him. If anybody is going to sell a knock-off, or know anyone that sells this one, please let us know. Im VERY interested.

kamispeed wants $171 for beatrush and $180 for c-one. i doubt that you can find it much cheaper than that.

a knock off will probably run $100 IF anybody makes one. i would love to do it myself, but i don't have the experience to do the vents.

i am on the fence about it. i will decide by april and write back about it after i track it at speed or feel a difference. whichever comes first.
in the mean time, if somebody makes a nice and low cost knock off, then i will consider that too.

no can do. the xa has a factory "sealer" that is sprayed under the car. it is very slick and traditional undercoating will not stick to it.

The plastic under there ____es me off when I change my oil and end up looking like I tried to slit my wrist, but that thing looks like it would have to be removed everytime you have to change your oil and I think that would ____ me off more.

Noooo, just think of it as more time pampering your baby....

Of course I can say that, I don't have one of these things trying to ____ me off every 5000 miles.....
