Default Black wax???

My 2006 xA is black. I love it but, the scratches that seem to appear out of nowhere are killing me. Is there such a thing as black wax? I would think that might help to at least mask most of them. Thanks.

Turtle Wax does sell a car polish called "Color Cure"

It comes in different colors including black. I've used it on my black xB. Works pretty good, but is not a long lasting wax, just a polish.

Are the scratches in just the clearcoat, or are they down to the metal?

very good question. no amount of wax will fill a scratch that needs to be repainted. rule of thumb is that, if you can catch the scratch with your fingernail it needs to be repainted. wetsanding and rubbing is an option, but not on our thinly painted scions
