Default CARBON FIBER HOODS... HORRIBLE ACCIDENT

So basically the rundown of it all is i got in a pretty bad accident this morning on the way to work. I hit a Rav4 and my hood is pushed in and all messed up. This is on my 06 Scion and i don't have collision coverage on my insurance AT ALL. Basically because i can't afood insurance any higher. I don't know how this is really possible because people are telling me it's the law that i have to have full coverage on a car in which i have a loan out for and they don't know how toyota let me get away with it. Does anybody know about this? Or any ideas of what i can say/do? I was also thinking abotut getting a CF Hood because i can't afford the painting, etc for a new one, which site has the cheapest one? HELP!

I went CF after my hood got damaged because it wasn't that much more than getting the other one fixed. and yeah, usually you would need to have full coverage if you don't actually own the car.

same here.

there are a lot of places that have carbon fiber hoods at different prices, just depends on the style you want; and then the cost of shipping for each place.

there's racingsolution.com, visracing.com, andy's auto sports, body-kitz.com, ect... and alot more that i haven't listed

Can I ask why you can't afford to pay any more for insurance? Is it already high b/c of tickets and/or accidents? B/c it might be time to start thinking about a defensive driving course or SOMETHING that might help you drive properly... IF that's the case anyway.

Default Insurance coverage is mandatory with financing

If you dont have full coverage, then your lender is probably charging you for coverage in the payment. check with them to see if you have additional ins in your monthly payment. maybe a stop loss plan.

Very high possibility! I work for a State Farm in Cali! Dont make a difference by state but by law you need comp & collision Deductibles if your paying a loan. Pretty dumb of toyota not checking if you had complete coverage!
