The dealer option for the carbon fiber pillar stickers, has anyone removed them before or bought them and put them on? Is it glue they use or is it like a sticker back? like decal tape. If anyone knows..please let me know. thanks

 

if i am correct, i think its like the double side tap, i have the tC door sills from scion and they came on w/ double side tape, but not the 3m type, but a different type

 

I have them and it is like a thick 3m tape that is on the back. Super easy install like 10 min tops. Very reliable wont fall off.

 

How easy is it to take off? lol

 

they take a bit of force to get off. i had to have my c pillar one replaced, because there was a piece of carbon fiber out of place inside of it and caused a bubble to form. anyways it took two tech guys to get it off. one to push in on the door and one to pull on the applique.

 

use goo gone and pull slow...treat it like badge removal with line if you have to.

 

can't find one under 200 bucks.

 

they are not even that much at the dealer from what I recall.
