I'm glad that you are okay. Hopefully the other driver have insurance and they can take care of your baby getting back in shape.

Awwwww! I hope they can fix it. Your car looked so nice. I always wanted one of those front lips.

i was looking at the door gaps for the front doors and the gap on the passenger side and it is almost non existent and can barely open the door. The drivers side gap is so much wider than normal. you can see the door hinge through it.

Glad you're ok!
Sounds like some pretty extensive damage Hoping for the best, wouldn't want to see an RS3 go down like that.

I hope you can fix this. There are barley any xAs left. I'm usually the only one at shows in the north east. Lol

Default update.

today marks a month without the car. Its at the shop getting repaired. It didn't get totaled out. So we wait and see. I am 90% sure i'm gonna sell it once i get it back and just do public transportation if I can get a good offer on the car.

A whole month? How long did it take for the adjuster to take a look at the car?

Well I didn't take it in right away b/c I initally put the claim in through the other drivers insurance but they were not moving. So then I had gieco take care of it. So its been in the shop for 2 1/2 weeks. Just spoke to the shop and I should have it back early next week! Gieco is great! It was towed and the ajuster was out asap. I took it to a fantastic body shop here in boston. These people are no joke. I've seen the work they done and you can't even tell cars have been in accidents. They have a robot welding machine that is on tracks. So they get same welds as a when it came from the factory. Insane setup.

Russ-I will only sell the car if I can get 8-10k. Car KBB value before the accident was 12,720 @32,000 miles. My car is babied with the best and I think its gonna look even better after it comes out.

Even with the accident its not worth 6k.

By filing with your insurance, would that be a record on your insurance? Or did Geico act as a driving force to get the other driver insurance to pay for the bill?

Yes, when i put the claim in through gieco they have a record of it but I am found not at fault so yes claims suck but the who is at "fault" is more important b/c of surcharges in MA. It should not affect my premuim. Also gieco will go after the other persons' insurance for $ my deductable and damages.
