Default Glowing Graphic: who makes it?

last spring, i was looking at lighting kits. one of the companies that makes underbody light kits also offers a glowing graphic. they had several of their own design, but i think that you could submit your own.

it was not glow in the dark, but somehow actively lit.

unfortunately, i can not find it now and i am not sure which company offered it.

i know that i had been looking at varad and streetglow, but i do not see the product at either site.

any ideas?

thanks!

i think that it was pretty thin but not as thin as a decal.
it glowed when powered.

it could have simple silhoutte type images on it.

Perhaps www.wheelart.net ? If you check out the videos they have, it sounds like what you've described.

hmm.. those just looks like reflective vinyl that has light shining on it.

now i guess that brings to the question... was it lit because of electricity? or was it because of the vinyl being highly reflective and there was like a light source (i.e. camera flash)..?

That's what I thought it was, just camera flashes, but it appeared that just the images were lit. Unless I was just too mesmerized on the reflective qualities, if that's what they are. I didn't know of this EL sheet stuff til you guys started mentioning it in this thread. Sounds cool.

i honestly don't think they make any type of EL type graphics that large..

it'd be wayyyy too expensive.

i mean.. small puny emblem sized EL stuff can cost you like $30-40

I was just reading on wheelart's site that it's just highly reflective and direct light sha to be on it. Trung, do you know of any pics of an EL decal lit up?
