How would you like it if...
After a couple of weeks of enjoying the paint job you put on the car. Someone comes along and does one almost the very same...colors and all.
And to top it off they are from the same state, city, and oh yeah club!
Here is mine that I did in my garage.
Here is his that he paid for...
I mean come on WTF!!!!

It's all good tho Chuck -- Yours turned out way better and looks much cleaner. I remember when Camelback copied Chris's first paint job to almost a tee. WTF!!!
Take it as a compliment of sorts.
On another note -- Nice "FLAT SPOT" on the right front wheel!!

I say leave the car as it is!!!! Since your N/A keep the wheels small that way you dont loose all your low end power.... 1.5L doesn't leave much room for torque. It looks beautiful with the tucked tires ans slammed suspension.
Wouldn't work for my application but your simple choice of parts have really grown together and it look fantastic!!
Props!!

There's only so many places you can cut in for a two-tone paint scheme.
When Glenn decided to two tone that xB at Camelback and went with Hot Lava on Thundercloud it did turn out too much like Chris's box. Bryan and I had suggested a different color but did not win. We DID get approval to cut Chris a check for his materials when he decided to go to the new scheme.
Creativity is usually inspirational and while the xB is not a direct copy of your idea, you can at least know you're motivating people to want to try to do more with what they have.
Keep doing what you want on your car. Getting copied (even if only sort of copied) is nothing more than a compliment.
