Hey this is my first time posting, but I was wondering if anyone has tried to modify there stock intake box. I was thinking of using the rubber pipe that goes from the manifold and take a K&N Typhoon Filter to drop it in the bottom half of the stock box. I was also looking at the original intake and realized that I could maybe use the hose that goes from the box to the grille and twist it to face downwards but kind of facing the bumper. I think that doing so would provide excellent cold air flow to the higher torque short ram idea first declared.

Any thoughts, suggestions, or past experience (even photos) would be helpful.
