I tried searching, maybe i didn't use the right word combination. I'm wanting to swap out the grill on my 06 xa. I've seen some aftermarket grills but don't feel like dropping 200ish + paint costs for just a grill. I've seen these IST grills from japan on ebay for about 90 unpainted. But are they a direct swap for an 06 xa? I've read that there was a change from 05 to 06, did this affect the grill design? or what all is needed to get the grill from the link below onto my car?

I heard that for an 06 IST, you have to sand down the sides(end's) of the grill to fit...

just a word of advice that grille its a fake (its fiberglass) I remember being a topic about it, but i couldn't find it either. the fitment is horrible don't buy it..

as far as direct swaps it won't work you need to mod the clips on the bottom to make it work, if your looking for the JDM look the best thing about the 06 is you can just swap the front badge for the netz badge aka ist badge and save yourself tons of cash and headaches.

alright thanks man. I'm not really into the whole JDM thing. I was just looking for a different grill for the car since what's on it is a little ugly. and since it's just a grill i didnt see a point in dropping 200+ for something that doesnt serve a function. but i'll check out that site and see if there's any other ideas on there.
