Default Need Custom Paint Job

Hi all,

I want to have my xA painted. BUT it's VERY specific. I want a really big Chinese Dragon maybe in white on the side of and top of my car. Does anyone know of a shop in So Cal or LA area that would do this, or CAN do it?

Trying to figure out cost and such so I can get Rims that will go with the color.

Here is a VERY rough sample from another company that makes stickers. It gives you an "idea" of what I am going for but I want to dragon to start closer to the front and end up at the back/roof.

dude there are plenty of shops in LA county that'll do it. Easiest way, take yellow pages and start calling them to get exact quotes.. I lived in Santa Monica, Corona and Riverside, and in Corona only there were 2 shops (mind you corona is TINY) that did custom paint jobs. just look them up as Body Shops.. or something

Yeah, I agree but I guess word of mouth is better than cold calls in LA. There are too many BS artist Auto shops around.

true brother.. Then follow Psyco565's advise and post this in regional section.
Here's the list of the ones i remember.
L.A. Autobody (323) 936-7771
All Magic Paint and Body (951) 734-1610 (there is a hot chick that works at the front desk lol)
Deluxe Kustom Paint (323) 263-0660
Kustom Kare Paint & Body

Unless you get exact answer from someone, then check these out. The best way is to actually go up there, look at their working area, you can tell a lot about how good of a job they can do, by what kind of work area they got, if u know what i mean. Ask them things like how many coats of paint they'll use (if you are planning on repainting your car, and then doing air brush on top) if you are just doing airbrush on top of the paint you got now, ask them how many clear coats they'll use on top, and how it will look. You wanna make sure when you look at your car from an angle, you don't see the airbrush part sticking out. Even if you don't really understand their answers, the fact that you are asking questions like you know what you talking about, they will treat you better and give you good info on their work. And last but not least, ask them about past projects they have done. Good body shops, always keep photo books with Before/After pics . Good luck
