I rarely listen to the radio, so i decided to take it off and just plug it. this is the end result.





Pros: No ugly base and antenna
Cons: Different Paint tone because they painted the car with the antenna base on. (think... please correct me if wrong.)

Also, if you do want to keep the base and antenna but want the looking, you can put it in the lining. Reception can be so so with FM, but absolute none in AM.

 

i dunno, i tihnk it would look 110% better with just a stubby or a shark fin.

i know what you mean. 99% of the time i've got my nano in the cubby and that keeps me rockin. i mostly got it for the look and trust me - it's money well spent.

 

Oh it is worth it. I seen them look kick ___. Im just also a neat freak clean look person.

Forget the fin... that tint looks soooo sexy.. damn. nice. anyway. yeah i like the fin, but i like a clean look. which is why i got rid of the emblems. rear wiper and the antenna and base. But damn. i love your tint.

I was thinking of doing this exact same thing to my car, but i was unsure on how to remove the antenna base, so i just bought the shark fin and i couldn't be any happier.
