OEM Bumper Material
What type of damage do you have? Pics would be helpfull.
the damage is 3 cracks on left side coming from turn light to wheel well. I want to fiberglass the back and put it back together. This would either be permanenet, or if noticeable until i get a oem bumper cover. My delaer has the cover, however if i dont have to spend 150 + and painting ill try fixing it first
Have you check the price from a dealer? Also, does anyone know if the panels come pre-painted?
Is the damage "cracks" or are there actual holes? Depending on the severity you can use an adhesive/bonding material with a mesh on the back side to correct the damage then use a light layer of filler on the outside.
The real problem is the location of the damage. If it runs all the way to the edge of the panel the damage will eventually start to crack and reappear. Best thing to do is get a new bumper cover.

Thats mine.
The dealer cost is 151 plus tax. The bumper comes unpainted and is gray.
Guy on ebay sells prepainted bumpers for around 400.
Just a thought... try RAYS-TC from Joe Myers Scion (TX) , He is in the sponsored sales section here. I called him about a new lower grille and hole cover and his prices were a lot better than local!! BTW, unpainted bumper covers in my area are $133......hmmmmm
