Default PROTOS Kit on xA (new pics pg.3)

So decided to let all my fellow xAers in on the little secret ........ I finally got the kit I've been drooling over since I bought my car back in '04 ...... now the kit is a "hand down" meaning I bought it off someone else who sold their xA....

Front Bumper and Rear bumper have been "pre fitted" both still have work that needs to be done to make me happy with a OEM fitment....... I'm still up in the air about the side skirts since they are JDM they are an inch to long .... I dont know if I want to spend the money to make them fit or just buy some that will bolt up ..... also you have to remove or cut down the front impact bar for the front bumper to fit

Here is the pre-view

IMO, a dropped xA with a Kenstyle kit is one of the sexiest rides around. . .

Regarding the Protos Kit. . . iIf I can't be nice, then I won't say anything more. . .

It's not so bad, I just don't like the closed style grill.

I give you props for having a kit that basically no one has here in the u.s., it's truly unique and very different. You'll grab more attention (good and bad) than the rest of the vanilla xA's out there with either a fab or kenstyle kit..

i don't think it is bad, the lower portion needs to be cleaned up quite a bit though. a little too much going on down there.

The Protos kit is my favorite body kit for the xA.

The fit of the front bumper you have is horrible. I hope you can get it to look right.

its not really that bad of a fit..... its really really tight around the headlights.... the biggest prob is there is like a quarter inch of flat space right in the middle of the "grill" area by the hood

the only pic of the skirts I have are of the Ist with the kit

I love this kit as well. Its great all your hard work in finding it is paying off. Great job, can't wait to see it finished. btw i would go ahead and see if you can get the sides to work. You have done so much to get this far, might as well go all the way.

I LOVE the way the front bumper looks, im just HATING the grill, i think thats where they went wrong. The lines and design are VERY nice and the side skirts are definitely worth working on and making them fit.

Anybody know where you can get those really cool rear view mirrors?? Ive been looking everywhere for them, i love the CF and how tiny they are.
