Default Roof Rack

Ok, I'm a avid cyclist and i really hate putting my mud covered bike the the back of my car. I had a bike rack on my old car and i loved it but it limted me on the mods i could do to the car. I just want to know your opions on how a roof rack will look with like with wheels and a drop. In other words do you guys think it will look stupid? And for any one who has a car with a rack and mods can you please post a picture?

i think itll have its own unique look but it will probably still look sick, the last car i had i kept a surf rack on it, it makes you look active lol

Default bike rack

I have a DaLan hitch on mine. Very easy to install into existing holes. I slide a 4 bike carrier into it. You barely notice it when the rack isn't on it.

where did you get the hitch for it?? i have been looking but havn't found it yet. plus in the manual it says hitches are not recomended. Is that going to be a issue?

Honestly I think that bike racks look cool on a full modded car. It means that your car is practical. It's not just there for show, but you use it daily. I respect those people and I think it wouldn't degrade your car. GET IT!

the rack from the dealer is also removable if you didn't need it on

Default hitch

I can't remember the site but I just got on Yahoo and typed in hitch for Scion xA. I would not recommend towing anything but hitch mounted accessories aren't going to hurt the car. I also have a Yakima roof rack but the bike rack for the hitch is so much easier for me.

well since i have the dc axel back ther is no way to get a hitch on the car.... you have to remove to tow ooks under the car and bolt on the hitch... well the exhaust is to large and the hitch won't clear it.... any othere suggestions?

I have a TRD and it fits fine. I guess the DC exhaust is bigger than the TRD?

Default Receiver Hitch

Does the DaLan 05-06 xA (P) hitch have a 2" receiver. I already have a Yakama bike rack, but it uses a 2" receiver.

Does anyone know what might have a 2"?

They make adaptors to use 2" receiver stuff with the smaller size hitch.
