Default Roof Rack

Ok, I'm a avid cyclist and i really hate putting my mud covered bike the the back of my car. I had a bike rack on my old car and i loved it but it limted me on the mods i could do to the car. I just want to know your opions on how a roof rack will look with like with wheels and a drop. In other words do you guys think it will look stupid? And for any one who has a car with a rack and mods can you please post a picture?

Default bike rack

I have a DaLan hitch on mine. Very easy to install into existing holes. I slide a 4 bike carrier into it. You barely notice it when the rack isn't on it.

Honestly I think that bike racks look cool on a full modded car. It means that your car is practical. It's not just there for show, but you use it daily. I respect those people and I think it wouldn't degrade your car. GET IT!

Default hitch

I can't remember the site but I just got on Yahoo and typed in hitch for Scion xA. I would not recommend towing anything but hitch mounted accessories aren't going to hurt the car. I also have a Yakima roof rack but the bike rack for the hitch is so much easier for me.

Default hitch

I have a TRD and it fits fine. I guess the DC exhaust is bigger than the TRD?

Default Receiver Hitch

Does the DaLan 05-06 xA (P) hitch have a 2" receiver. I already have a Yakama bike rack, but it uses a 2" receiver.

Does anyone know what might have a 2"?

Thanks,
Fred

They make adaptors to use 2" receiver stuff with the smaller size hitch.
