Default Rust

I have a scratch that has now turned from ugly to rusty. Has anyone ever gotten scratches cleaned up by a body shop rather than just using touch up paint? Every time I have touched up it never looks right, and I’m not sure the touch up paint can even inhibit more rusting.. Also, if you HAVE gotten it fixed by a body shop, can you tell me what you paid?

I have the same problem.. The auto care shop I go to advised me to save up and get the couple spots professionally painted (lots of money).

But until I have the money, he also said that you can use sand paper and sand down the areas that are rusty, then use clear nail polish over the part sanded. He said that should keep it from rusting more. My two spots are small so it'll work. Hope this helps!
