Default Toyota Ist Version-B Front Lip quesiton

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Toyota version-B front lip. If you need to see it, can be found here:

I was thinking of ordering just the front lip of this kit, but I'm wondering how it sits on the car. If I get only the front lip, I don't want it to look like its hanging down alot further than the stock sideskirts when you look at the car in profile. Also, if anyone knows if the Toyota kits come with anything to attach them, ie double-sided tape, or if I'd have to bring it to a body shop. Thanks.

it can't be that low. i have a kenstyle lip in cf on mine and it looks great. i actually get a lot of compliments for just having the front lip. it makes the xa look more "racey" in the words of my lady.

the only thing is the rear. for whatever reason, the oem side skirts flow well but the rear bumper ends up looking a little bland. you might want to get a little lip kit for the rear. it won't need anything besides double sided tape and a few screw to hold it into place most of the time.

That lip is crazy hot. You should definately try and get a hold of one...

Thanks for the info. Do you have any pics of kenstyle lip on your car? Curious to see what it looks like without the sideskirts.

wow. throwback pic for real. my car looks very different now. i know it's not a great pic but it gives you an idea. trust me that it looks really good in person. i think just a front lip would be great. i actually want the rear lip from the ist but the price is kind of steep.

illnist - they fit, but i just don't have the loot to get my body guy make them look how i want them to. i'm actually selling them since i decided to do something a little more feasable with my budget and driving style. the sides on the kenstyle kits are too low for the complex where i live anyways. if i have 3 passengers in the car, i barely make it over speed bumps. with the full kit on, i'll hit everything in my neighborhood.

btw, i want to see pics of your hood. i read it was double sided carbon fiber.

You must excuse the water spots, dirt, and bug smushies! It just got back from a very long dirty drive 2 days in a row!
This is the inside of a BBist Cardon fiber hood. As you can see the CF is on both sides so you do not see the ugly raw CF like on most all CF hoods.

when I bought this I had no idea it was double sided...so imagin my excitement! Did the rear CF KS fit great or modding and reworking required?

fit was almost perfect. there was a really tiny gap where the top of the lip hit the bumper but it was no big deal. other than that it was fine. went on really easy with no forcing or flexing of the bumper.

it's a bit late i guess, but unfortunetly the TRD lip kits wont fit anything BUT an 04 xA i've already attempted at obtaining it last year. the people at toy sport AND newscionparts.com said that the only thing that will fit from the TRD kit are the side skirts...boo!! apparently the bumper dimensions are different...in what way i have no clue but if i'm getting the same feedback from two reputable companies (especially toy sport) then yeah
