Default Uhhh... WTF... Dents In Dash Magically Appear?!?!?!?!?!

Ugh... this car is really ____ing me off... I love it to death, but seriously, the **** seems to be unending. I very gently (in fact, I've been very gently doing EVERYTHING with this car from engine break in to driving to vacuuming to cleaning) wiped the dusty dash with a moistened microfiber towel and what appears 5 minutes later? 2 sharp dents in the dash! I'm assuming two things here... the dash material is ridiculously thin to begin with and combined with the heat from the sun, made it all the more fragile. This is BULLSH_T. I'm not swearing off Toyota or anything (we've owned four), but they dropped the ball with the xA. The Yaris dash material is awesome... hell, the Echo dash material is better than the xA.

I planned on driving this car to the ground... but it looks like it's on a four year plan at the moment. There's no question that the dash will continue to warp and warp until it resembles post war Iraq. What a damned shame because I'm a hatchback fiend and this is the best looking hatch (next to the Mini) on the market.

I'm sorry dude but it seems you've gotta get rid of that particular xA, I've been reading your many posts and it just seems you have purchased the rotten apple out of the bunch. If there's some way to name it a lemon and be able to trade it for a new xA please do so, it'll make you much happier and your old xA can be re-sold to some little old lady who dont give a crud.

Thanks, man. I appreciate it. Trust me, it sounds like I _____ a lot, but it's only because I love my xA. Yes, I've had a few problems, but they're all easy fixes and nothing that would warrant a lemon status... it's just that the super fragile dash material sucks major *****.

I am getting amazing fuel economy, however. 34 last tank... with majority city driving too!

awesome! and hey maybe all the problems could be things you need to mod! I smell a fiberglassed painted dash in the future!
