Default Underbody lights for the xA

I have a 06 RS-3 xA. I want to put underbody lights on it, but where is the best place to mount them?

I don't think they are any different for the xA or for an escalade. I think you can find them easy. Maybe do a Google search or ebay.

actually i wonder if there IS a better place to mount the one in front than i did. it seems that you need a lip kit just to hide the neons under our cars. i've broken two tubes already on freeways at different times...the cheapest place i've found them is in LA for $30, comes with tubes, wiring, fuse, connecting block and a cheapy switch.

Im not sure cheapist is the way you want to go here. Its kinda a pain to install them, so go with something quality that will last. I went with varad, but oznium is just as nice. There are good spots on the xa to mount them, on the sides, there is a part of the floor pan that is at an angle, just inside the sideskirt edge. in the front i mounted it to the black plastic cover behind the bumper (again angled out) and in the rear straight down off the bumper support. the angled mounting allows the light to be cast further out away from the car and reduces the hotspots from the leds. I cant see any of the leds from standing near the car, but my car is lowered so that might help with that. oh and mine is an 06 as well.

WOW! cheapest kit I see from oznium is $140 and I would want there $150 one. Looks nice but that is a pretty penny. My Modd expenses keep growing the more mods I do

Well, everyone has to work within their own budget. And no one is putting a gun to your head and saying make your car glowie. But, if you want that look, why spend the money and time to get something that will fail or break easy and have to do it all over again, or be frustrated enough to just not have them.

Here is a picture of the side, you can't see the tube at all

and here are some of the front:

Honestly, there are little spots you can mount the lights to. If you look under your front bumber, you should notice a little indent or a little groove that is actually in the plastic of the shield. That is where I mounted my lights. And when I get new ones, thats where I am going to mount the new ones
