I have been looking for a ist gril for my new xa and I was just wondering where you guy are finding yours. I found two on ebay but i would like it painted salsa red so i don't have to paint it.

Incorrect.

You will need to do some modifying to make an '04/'05 grille and taillight fit on an '06.

It's actually, not difficult to get the older grilles to fit the new xA's. Just need to trim the bottom a bit, and create a way to secure it in place.

they have the 06 version of the ist grill there anyhoo sections are year broke.

I'll bet a grille that you cannot directly fit '04/'05 grilles and tails on an '06.

Believe me. There are reasons why people have had to mod their TYC tails from an older xA to fit an '06. There are reasons why you need to shave a slight bit off of the bottom lobes on an older grille to fit it on an '06.

I'm not arguing, nor do I wish to argue. However, your beliefs are slightly skewed. If you wish to believe them, then so be it. But don't go spreading the word around that everything for an '04/'05 directly fits an '06 without modifications. I'd also suggest not making bets either. You owe me a grille.

Out of the box, grilles or tails for an '04/'05 will not directly fit/work on an '06. Whether it be changing the lighting harness or dremeling material off, a modification is still a modification.

i dont think the myautofashoin sports grill will fit the 06. i asked them a while back.

^^^ no, the angle where it meets the bumper is a little different. however, any qualified bodyshop can trim a little and it will work.

And here's my '06 grille. Notice the difference in angle where the grille meets the bumper skin?
