You will have to drill multiple holes to mount the ebay wing if it's like the one I bought. Yes you will need to drill a small hole, install a small rubber grommet, thread the wire from the light thru to the inside and splice into your existing 3rd brake like.
The wing comes with a paper template for drill the wing mounting holes. The supplied hardware has these things call Nut Rivets. You need a special tool to install those. Thet are like a rivet with a threaded center. Once installed the wing will be bolted onto your car via these nut rivets. I bought the tool at Harbor Frieght. Less than $15. I also bought Harbor Freights assortment pack of Nut Rivets. The ones that come with the wing are metric and I couldn't locate a cheap metric tool so with buying the assortment pack and a quick trip to Home Depot I was able to do a proper install.
Good Luck!
