actually the ones on scion make it looks cheaper. you would have one on the mirror, one on the fender and one on the front light housing. yike! triple blinkers.

benz and now caddy copying all euro vehicles ony have either blinker on the fender or mirror and the one in the front light housing. this is the way it should be!

 

I like the 06, but would put on a set of 05 tails if I had one.

 

I like my '05 better, although I do wish I could get the '06 stereo with the steering wheel.

And, if looks mean anything to you, BCP is being pulled after '05. And that means the BCP is going to be a limited run, in the long haul.

Also as someone who is looking to buy a new car (and most likely a Scion), just from these pix, I'd check out the '06 xA more then the '06 tC.

Just a small detail I noticed...

The exhaust tip is on the other side of the car for the 06, so does that mean that the 05s axle-backs wont fit the 06s?

 

Sorry. I flipped the image on the '06 so the direction of the cars was the same, thusly aiding in the comparison. So take that into account.

06 xA looks more economy.

 

05 all the way blk bumper moldings make the car stand out more when shined up, rear lights are change able tyc makes better ones than that of the 06'. turn signal on the mirror should have came on the 04' -05' cars - not cool scion makers. still not enough for me to trade my baby in, see what u look like in 07'- lol..

 

yeah, no doubt those tyc tails are hott!! they are a little on the pricey side, but for the look id say well worth the money.

are there actually any differences with the headlights? i really like the ones on the 05 but recently ive been craving a more agressive look to them.. i wonder how hard it would be to retrofit some projectors in there...

i decided to pull back my deposit on the 06 because i don't like the blinkers on the mirrors and on the fenders. i would have liked it on the mirror or fender only (plus the required one on the headlight). i also like the round fogs more. i could live without the radio control on the steering wheel (have it on my sienna and hardly use it). i didn't care much for ipod connection (i think ipods are overrated). don't care much for the upgraded fabric since i plan to convert it to leather.

to make the story short, i am picking up an '05 xa with 400.00 off this weekend !

 

Dito! I meen who the hell has 4gb of music? I understand if someone ACUALLY has that much music but for those who buy it just to be able to say "I have an iPod" I pitty you. I like those really small 512mb mp3 player that sandisk makes. Sorry to go off-topic.

no i am too old for student discount. it was thru an internet sale at fitzmall toyota/scion here in gaitherburg maryland. plus it is end of model year ...

 

I'm thinkin' the '06 xA may just grow on me as time passes. It's kind of prune-shrunken but I'm already warming to the grille up front. One thing I notice is the '06 xA looks more Echo-ish...not really a good thing overall.

I, too, wonder about the RS 3.0 and how it might look as it looks like I'll hang onto my '01 Sportage 4X4 for a while longer and wait for the next RS model to come out.
OTOH I might still be interested in snagging a RS 1.0. I love that red-but there's really no RS 1.0's to be found. Anybody ever seen a used RS 1.0 for sale?

 

There is a used RS1.0 at a local dealership. They are asking 15,000 for it and I'm not sure of the mileage.

I'm really not liking any of the exterior changes for 06. I agree with what they changed, just not the result.

Of course, if that upgrade list included a 1zz-fe, I'd be on the way to the dealership right now :-)
