it was a tough race, sunday. very fast course, fought understeer the entire time.. kinda disappointing. i'm working on changing all that

anwyay, here's a shot from the day out.

i beat him last month in Hialeah by 1 second (3 seconds counting the cone he smacked) ..

 

Sorry I didn't make it. I ended up waking up late on Sunday. With your understeering..time to take out that front sway bar!

 

damn no kidding but i ain't going there.. i'm just gonna tighen up the rear some more ;)

 

Did you notice the GTSpec brace help at all?

 

I have a race this weekend, I'll try and post a pic or two and my impressions. I usually dont have much issue with understeer.

What type of Springs are you using? And sways?

Those seats keeping you nice and in place? I sure know I get sick of bracing my knee against the door,haha.

And, you really should take off your front sturt tower bar, if you have it. It's only going to make you understeer more.

 

i'm running Tanabe coilovers and Hotchkis sways. i might just try removing the upper strut bar lol, see what happens.. can't hurt, right?

yeah, the seats are keeping me planted perfectly!

Ashe, i've never had understeer problems til this event. i think the long sweeping turns instead of slaloms were my problems. it's hard to keep the tires planted to put down the power.. the inside front just like to spin like crazy.

 

Hmmm..... Maybe I'll be racing mine when all the snow clears... Nice job out there and congratulations!
