Default carrying a canoe

We recently bought a 2006 xA and love it. But we're puzzled about one thing. We have a Yakima roof rack for carrying our canoe and kayaks. When I looked under the front of the car I couldn't find any place to attach the front straps--essential for carrying the canoe. Am I missing something or does the xA not have any tow loops in front? If not, how do I attach the front straps so the canoe doesn't fly off the car?

Get the tow ring out of the back and screw it into the front hole. That is how I carry my kayak on my car.

THANKS! I don't know if I'd have ever thought to look for a screw-in tow ring!

Default Kayak

I carry a kayak pretty well with just the foam blocks you can get for $30.

They wrap around the Yakima bars.
