Default Changing the storage box bulb

Hi, I just bought an xA, and had a stupid question.

My scion came with a little glowing storage box in the dashboard (as can be seen in this picture)

I'd like to replace it with a blue bulb, but have no idea how to change the bulb.
Does anyone know how to get to the bulb to change it?

I hate to be the one to say this but try searching next time. People get seriously irritated when this information is readily available and you don't even try to find it. Anyways.

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=37733

It is so simple its not even funny. Scions are so easy to take apart. I wish hondas were the same way.

I really hate to tell you this hy, but going blue might not turn out like you like it....the door is orange.....the bulb has an orange condom on it, but the door really makes it orange....

I know somewhere around here is a how to on putting in LEDs and a micro-switch to come on when you open the cover door...cheap and easy mod....

And let me welcome you to the site! And yeah, if you don't get the terms just right, the search is more frustrating than just asking, I just spent an hour looking for the mod I told you about....

Door definitly doesn't have an orange hue to it. I put in a blue led and my door is nice and blue. But seriously, just pop off the 2 silver trim peices, afew screws to remove the storage area and change the bulb out from the back and reverse the process. Its rediculously simple.

Yeah, my door is clear too.
I'm thinking of getting one of these bulbs for it: http://www.amazon.com/Automotive-lig...sr_1_4?ie=UTF8
I think this is the right size...

I'd stay away from multi led bulbs as they are more prone to failure. I have a plain jane blue single led from www.autolumination.com and it works just fine. If you want get one of the ones they offer with an aluminum heat-sink. Suppose to allow for it to fun longer in hotter places without failure, but actually its a pretty damn powerfull spotlight. Works really good.
