ETAs from port, to dealership, to owner?
I ordered a SSM xA about 5 weeks ago, and was told that it would arrive at its port in NJ on December 16th. I've been trying to contact the dealership in CT which it is being brought to, but nobody will return my calls/e-mails. Based on your own experiences, does anybody have any idea what kind of time it takes for the dealer to receive a car from port, install airbags, the iPod feature, and the security system, and then be ready to take it off the lot? I know I should be patient, but my last car just died Anyways, if anyone has any input to provide, I would greatly appreciated it. Thanks guys.

I placed my order for the RS2 xA on May 3, 2005. I was an impatient wreck waiting for mine to come in. I finally received a call on June 6, 2005 that my vehicle was ready for pick-up and I was driving it home on the 7th. That was a toatal of about 4.5 weeks. I was originally told 6-8 weeks. I was lucky because my dealer did a transfer from a Scion Dealer in Rhode Island.
Usually when a car gets in to port it will take anywhere from 1-2 weeks to make it to the customer.
