1.3 liter 87 horsepower unit... great gas mileage. if americans werent so greedy with power and speed and scion offered it as the optional engine, id have that one. scion should also offer AWD

 

and no fair!!!! u guys get auto climate control????? the one feature i think all cars should have standard in america (besides Anti-lock Brakes)

ya, the toyota ist is the euro xa, since its closer to the american version than the jdm toyota ist.

did u guys know that the toyota yaris in canada (i think) and in europe have an optional keyless go system. you dont need to put a key in the ignition to start the car, just have the transponder in your pocket or purse and push the power button on the dash. same thing with unlocking the car too!!!

it is an imported IST... from Japan! so that makes it what you're calling JDM i beleive?

its quite strict here so i beleive they wouldnt pass VRT tests if it didnt have the right emissions control...
