FAQ RS 1.0 - Absolutely Red [xA]
UPDATED: AUGUST 18th 2004
Toyota Motor Sales, USA is pleased to announce pricing for the Scion xA
Release Series 1.0. The Release Series 1.0 will now include a +size 17" Enkei Alloy Wheel with a 205/40R17 Yokohama Avid H4S tire. This tremendous addition will allow Scion to further distinguish the brand and showcase the unique styling of the xA.
xA Release Series 1.0
The xA Release Series 1.0 is the second in a series of limited edition
vehicles for Scion and will offer several unique interior and exterior
enhancements. This distinctive package will attract image conscious buyers
to xA while providing continued support for xA sales momentum.
All xA Release Series 1.0 vehicles have a bright new body color, Super Red,
plus a sports grille and color keyed rear spoiler. A power tilt and slide
moonroof, plus vehicle stability control with traction control also enhance
the xA Release Series' sporty styling and "fun to drive" image.
The exterior is rounded out with aggressively styled 17" Enkei Alloy Wheels with a 205/40R17 Yokohama Avid H4S tire.
Interior enhancements are designed to complement the Super Red exterior
color. The xA will be further distinguished with a subtle, black seat
fabric with red highlights, along with red lighting in the center storage
compartment. Finally, individually numbered xA Release Series badging will
be applied to the interior of each Release Series car.
Only 1,550 units of the xA Release Series 1.0 will be available, and will
begin arriving at Scion dealerships in October. The xA Release Series
1.0 package will NOW carry an MSRP of $2,200.[/b]

I haven't heard anything about anymore RS series for Scion as of now. I can check with my Regional Mgr. this week to see if there is anything in the makings.
It would be nice though if each model came out with an RS series. Mix it up a little, and get the customers more enthused with each model.
