We might know the color now ... but I want the specs! What options will it have?

 

Ditto... I'm ready to buy, but I need the specs to decide if the options are worth the wait...

Any thoughts on when the specs will be released?

 

My guess is that since the "game piece" will be available on the 15th, we should see the specs around then also.

 

I wonder if this is what the neww xA RS 2.0 will look like ....

 

2 questions:
1. What the hell is the thing in the front bumper a coat rack?
2. Why the giant rain gauage in the hood?
Just me, otherwise yep I'll take one, with a matching hood.
Rumor has it not all the RS1's are sold? Any idea who still has then or are they still coming into port. I might have to hold out for a 2.0 but if I can get a sweet deal on a 1.0 heck I'm in.

 

The antenna on the bumper is something people in japan put on their car so they know where the corner of their car is. The streets in Japan can be real narrow. The parking spots are small, too.

The "rain gauage" on the hood is a reverse scoop. It's a Carbon Fiber hood. The reverse scoop pulls hot air away from the engine using Bernoulli's Principle...

 

I already had this topic started...that isnt the color. The color is SPECTRA Blue Mica...that color is Blue Mica. Specatra blue mica is the same as the Toyota Celica blue...

 

Is that like a metallic blue. Cuz me likey the color of the one in the pic. Maybe I should paing my xA.

 

RS 1's are still being sold, only a few left out there, but they aren't at ports anymore. There are still approximately 44 out there in the states.

 

I'd definately take a true blue over the absolutely red , but that's just me

How much would it be to paint the enitre car? Just curious.

 

I love spectra blue mica, it's the color of my '01 Celica. If only my stinkin' '94 Grand Am had held out for another few months, I could've had that color on my xA as well, and probably a factory sunroof to boot! <sigh> Story of my life.

Anyone wanna buy a slightly used IIP xA in a couple months? ;-)

If you read closely it says May 1st the eDocoder will be available April 15th. Scion wouldn't put out 2 of their RS cars in the same month I think it is kinda of a sales tactic.

 

Are you sure that the xA pictured above isn't speedway blue (new tacoma color)? We were first told that it was going to be speedway blue but then changed.

 

No Speedway BLue is much lighter.

 

It's not much, but if you go to the scion gamepiece site: http://www.scionhiddencode.com/index.tbapp?method=login you can see the wheels on the xA (assuming the picture is acurate).

Look like the standard 10 spokes available as a dealer option. Probably not accurate, but I figured I'd contribute.
