I'm so happy I got the sunroof... I love it!

I just need to get the pass windows and driver side windows tinted.. Any recommendations for an Indiana girl?

 

wait, the sunroof is an option now???

 

No, it wasn't an option. I paid for it to be installed by a company the dealer recommended. They installed that at the same time the window tint was done and my alarm system installed.

Those were the options I purchased. My car is the only one on the road around here that has the sunroof. (from an xA standpoint)

 

Like Ruby said, the sunroof isn't a Scion option but my dealer actually lists it on the option price sheet that they show customers. Seems like they listed about $1200 for one installed (it's been over a year since I looked at it). Of course they don't install it themselves, but get an offsite shop to do the install.

I think mine was about $1000 installed.

I just knew my next car was going to be either a Jeep Wrangler or the Scion, and when gas prices went crazy, I opted for the xA w/ a moonroof. hehe

 

hmm... interesting. I know the sunroof was part of my car.. but thats cuz its an RS1.0. Its cool though. I love the sunroof ^-^

 

I'd like a sunroof, but didn't wanna take the chance of a leak because I have no clue what shop they get to do theirs.

 

I straight out asked the dealer about that. I told him, "Don't aftermarket MoonRoofs leak?" and he said they've been using this same guy who installs them for years and they have never had any complaints.. so I took his word.

I've had her a year and a half so far, and absolutely no leaks. *knocks on wood*

 

I just bought mine this weekend.
And I love it! I'm going crazy searching for little accessories for it.

I can't seem to find a good place that makes custom vinyl decals or license plate frames. Hmm.[/img]
