Default Guys in Xa's are flicking me off!

For some odd reason, I got flicked off by a bunch of guys in a stock Xa today. Now there aren't alot of Xa's in my town, so far from what I've known I'm the only person who has any kind of mods on an xa in my town. I never tried to race any one, nor give any one any kind of look. I was thinking that since there aren't alot of xa's in the town, ppl who drives em should kindda stick together. Oy....definately lots of haters in this town.
Since I'm new to this place, It's almost impossible for me to ____ any one off, I barely know anyone, and I'm only in this town for work.
Any one ever had an experience like that?

Maybe they flick you off because they're on Scionlife too and constantly see you typing Xa instead of xA

Maybe the guy's ____ed because he thought he had the only xA around the area and he wanted to be exclusive. That's pretty stupid, but who knows. The fact that he would drive by another Scion owner (who he doesn't know) and give him the finger tells me he's not too bright in the first place.

yeah i think thats a very possible scenario, that hes jealous you are stealing his juice- which is ridiculous... i live in the columbus ohio area and i was cruising back to ohio state, when this other xA (not an RS1.0 though :D) flew by me in the passing lane, so i decided to cruise along with him on I70. when we did go our separate ways he gave me the thumbs up and i promptly returned... scions need to unite!

I dont know what you ride, but I know for a fact that no one on a real bike is gonna drop a hand to some punk on a crotch-rocket.

Granted, they wont flip them off, either

Dude, that's the secret SCION hello! I can't believe the dealer didn't clue you guys in. Everytime you see another scion you HAVE to give them the secret scion hello.

i have yet to see a tC around columbus thats not 100% stock and driven by what looks to be a 35yrs+ male that never acknowledges that i have a scion as well.. oh well. im sure there will be more to come!

i saw another xB yesterday on 315 that zoomed by and gave a little honk and waived his hand... he didnt appear to have any exterior mods, but he had an AEM sticker on the rear bumper. actually kinda funny cause the guy had to be at least 40+ :D

so the scion is becoming a mid-life crisis car for a lot of midwesterners? haha

Just a few things for you to consider....us 35+ folks are probably alot more likely to wave at a fellow Scion than some kid with a chip on his shoulder. We've got nothing to prove and we're just out enjoying our cars. Also, we're not the ones going around keying the sides of cars in parking lots. So give us old farts a little credit.

p.s. I'll be 39 in a week

I live in Charlottesville VA. real close to UVA. I mean it's a good town near campus......but out side of the city are really just alot of red necks, and haters.
Not only I've been flicked off....I've been keyed, been sprayed with shaving cream all over my car while parked at work, been surrounded by a bunch of guys who are trying to race me on Sat nights on the road. mostly civics and grand ams are after me.
I don't know any of these ppl, neither have I 've hinted that I've wanted to race any of them....yet there's always the same group of 2 civics and 1 grand am sourrounding me trying to race. I've tried to tell them while they were driving next to me that I don't want to race and that my car is slow. but they blast their music so loud they couldn't even hear me.

You licensed to carry??
That is a shame that there are so many jealous of the coolest car on the road.....

BTW, 44 here, maybe it is a mid-life crisis thing.I just hope I don't have to be rushed to the hospital in mine..
