Headers on an xa

yeah, only the tC and the 08+ xB has the catalytic convertor in the exhaust manifold collector. on the xA/xB it is further down the exhaust piping, like it is on most cars.
does it have primary and secondary o2 sensors to detect if the cat is present and working like the tC does? (i might be doing exhaust on my gf's xA.

I have the Weapon R header in stock right now. $299.99 SHIPPED. It has been dyno proven to alone give 11hp without any other mods. you would be seeming more with intake and exhaust. Check out the site, it should only take a few days to get to you if your interested.

Thats correct! CARB legal is really only important for people living in California. We are also located in MD also. We only have VEIP inspections here and they just plug into your OBDII port. As long as your not throwig a check engine light, you pass. LOL.

But dang, this is straight from the Weapon R site...
"Weapon*R Street Header was designed to increase Horsepower & Torque. This is ideal header for all the people who are into weekend competition racing and yet drive thier car on a daily basis. ( NOT 50 State Legal ) Designed, Research and Development on Weapon*R's Dynapack Dyno. OFFROAD USE ONLY NOT LEGAL FOR USE ON PUBLIC HIGHWAYS"
I can't seem to unwrap my brain around that... Don't want to have to search for "those" kinda inspection shops...

They have to put that disclaimer legally. As long as you are not throwing a check engine you will be fine.
People in CA have to worry because police officers can do visual inspections under modified cars hoods. They are trained what to look for too.
Most header and headers are technically for "off road use" If a header doesnt come with a secondary O2 bung you can either have one welded on at a muffler shop or you can use a few O2 sensor tricks.
