It's exactly as the dealer said, you need an alignment and your wheels balanced. And please refrain from typing in all CAPS it's against the forum rules.

also, if you have aftermarket rims you might want to consider some hubcentric rings.

They'll rebalance all 4 wheels and tires, and re-align the front end.

I had the same problem when I picked up my car off the lot. Took it in and told them to realign it and balance the tires, and it solved the problem.

is the shake up & down or side to side? get all 4 tires balanced, look for cupping and unless you have lowered it or hit some nasty potholes, I'd hold off on the alignment...

vibration in the front end is ALMOST always balancing issue. pulls to one side r alignment issues. the only other thing is damaged steering components which you shuldnt have this early in the game unless u radically changed all ur suspension geomatry.

You either have a bent rim or the place did a half azzed balance job. Did they Load Force balance the wheels/tires prior to balancing.
Have you tried moving the front tires to the rear and seeing how it does then? You might be able to narrow down which one is at fault.
Personally I'd take them back and have a manager do the balancing. They either missed something (bent wheel) or their machine is not right. You should be able to look at the tire while it's spinning and see if it is true or not. Good luck and don't take NO for an answer. Get what you paid for! It's gotta be something simple that they missed.

really appreciate all your help, i did not see when they did the balancing of the wheels but i did see when they rotated the tires, so yes i guess i will have to take it to the toyota dealer and have them do a professional work. i was thinking that maybe it is something on the steering system or something i really dont know i lets see now how more much money i have to spend at the dealer thanks for all of your suggestions thanks a lot guys

im assuming that you already got this fixed but i dont think anyone asked this question yet. When you're going 60+ does it constantly vibrate or is it only when you apply the brake? If it only happens when you apply the brake then you have build up on your rotors (most people call it warped rotors). What this means is that its tiime for a brake job.

i've heard you should get the car alligned once you have it lowered, but honestly, i haven't had a problem with my xa after a set of tanabe df210's and no allignment necessary. ... is that normal?

Carlito, you should've taken the car back to the dealer when you got it and demanded they fix it. Now it's too late.

The reason for the post-lowering alignment is to prevent abnormal tire wear. I'd suggest getting it checked out.

Well, what I meant is that it's too late to get them to fix it at their own expense,

I would go and talk to their service manager and tell them that they did not properly balance your wheels/tires when you were last in.
